Hi Andrew! Wow! You are able to ride a bike and that to me is indeed a blessing for you! I am so Happy that you are seeing a life again! And I will pray that you never see this stuff again!
I wished I would have stayed on the Rituxan but the first Infusion that nurse gave me made me sick as a dog. They arranged for me to get it locally at a hospital that was close by and I really hate that hospital. It has a really really bad reputation. Half the people in my town end up going to other hospitals that are a bit further away because they don’t like the place either. After that one infusion I came home and was terribly ill. I mean terribly. I am very hypersensitive to medications and when a drug scares me half to death I refuse taking it. Which was the case for the next treatment! The worst part was I think the girl that gave it to me was new for she kept going to another person asking her questions on what to do! So then they placed me on Prednisone which is not really helping much at all. Lower the dosage and the mess comes back. Now they are talking about using another drug! Just waiting for the doctor to call with my lab results that have not come in yet! Still waiting on labs! I just think the wrong person gave me that Rituxan in the wrong way. She was in a rush too trying to give it to me. And I told her I was getting sick! When I got discharged from the place that day I kept telling them that I better not leave just yet for I was getting sick! I ended up having Andy driving me home and was barfing my guts out. So now because of this one lady I am scared of taking Rituxan!
But am so happy for you! I really am! May your life become fulfilled with much joy and happiness and I pray you don’t see this stuff ever again! Hugs

Hi Andrew! Good to see you again! Norb really know’s his stuff in here with the AntiMag BCells and other things. I guess when we all have different diseases we learn them very well and even the science behind them. The treatments and our progress.
It is such a shame how we get stuck having to pay $4000.00 for a treatment.
You know? I wonder how many of us were not able to pay the $4000.00 dollars and ended up dying because they could not get any help. How many deaths have occured because the insurance wouldn’t pay! That makes me mad thinking about this and even hearing about it!
It’s bad enough that we are sick and really don’t need the stress of worrying about how we are going to get treated. But I bet we have many not getting treatment because of money issues.
Norb! I admire your knowledge! You have some really great answers and have been a great asset to this site! Thanks for sharing so much with us!
Andrew! Glad to see you back online!:D
