Oh poor kid,
When i first started driving again i drove with my hand under my right knee so that i’d be able to pick my leg up and move it to the brake pedal, back in the day i always drove a stick shift, now that would be impossible!
It will get better, never give up! You just got confused and that happens to everyone driving a car they aren’t familiar with, especially if someone is with them in the car.
Cheryl, i’m a night owl too and so i suppose i could consider myself a morning person if we’re talking 2 or 3 in the A.M. 😉 Most of the talking i do around the house is to the cats, but have lately found myself talking back to the TV.. yikes maybe i should get out more??

Emma and JudiZ, Cheryl and Shirley, think we’ll all fit in Norb’s ride? Norb can drive, we’ll work the pedals for him and give Carol a break ( and quite possibly a heart attack, i suspect) so maybe not.

Dustdemon,
i’ve never seen a cicada, are they like grasshoppers?
You poor guy, i remember traveling thru Texas on summer nites and how the crickets were so thick you couldn’t avoid crunching them under foot. they were even all over the gas pumps, ick!
You have been thru so much lately, i hope that something really good happens in your life very soon. Like Norb says, the grieving process is different for everyone, don’t try to tell yourself you should be “over it” by now, let it out and don’t try to hide it, it’s our way of healing, and if some folks don’t understand, they aren’t worth messing with.
We love you, ya know and you’ve always got us.

It’s another beautiful day here in PA and i’ve weeds to pull and plants to plant, but am too lazy to do anything but sit here and gaze out at the sheep next door
Take care ya’ll

P.S. Norb, you are driving un less that”s Obi Wan Kenobi in that power chair?:D
