Andrew, I was quite surprised to learn that the antiMAG protein is measured in energy units. If your assumption is correct and the index my lab is using is in fact kcal/1000, then the 140,000 that was measured back in 2005 by the lab in St. Louis would correspond to 35.28. The 12.94 measured in October would then represent a significant drop, more than 50%. In November 2007 after my first Rituxan treatment it was already down to 15.24. However, my condition has slowly deteriorated since 2005. Then I was still doing fine with just a cane. Today I am in a wheelchair. It doesn’t make much sense to me.
