I just noticed this and I think this one is replacing Chit-Chat.

I hope we will get our AVATARS back soon and I’d love to see the ATTACHMENTS back for images/gifs

      Dear Liz:

I think the main forum is more like the old chit-chat forum. I guess it will depend on how we choose to use it. We had a general questions forum in the previous forum.

Is Marc still in hibernation? Or the Witness Protection Program? Or travelling with the Dixie Chicks?

      Regards,
      Marge

It would be nice to think Marc is good and slow (or slow and good).

I was diagnosed with GBS in May 2006. I was in the hospital for about 2 1/2 weeks then in rehab for about 2 weeks where I had to relearn how to walk, dress myself and such. This has been the most difficult time in my life. I was wondering how does everyone else deal with this? I feel so tired all the time. Any ideas on how to help me get out of this funk I feel like Im in….:o

Greetings and welcome to the family. GBS is a difficult disease but hang in there and rest when you need it and you will get better. In the beginning I slept alot and tried to use my energy wisely. As your nerves regenerate the myelin, you will feel your endurance and strength improve. I will be at 3 years this November with CIDP and am doing quite well. Keep coming back here and ask questions, we are here to help and support you any way that we can. Take care.

Welcome, to the site. Hard to adjust to being tired… Sleeping more than normal did help me. Change of schedule and learn what I could do and when I needed to slow down is something I am still working at. Keep asking questions there are many experienced people here that can help you.
